You may
be eligible for a full refund of your campaign contribution under Minnesota's
Political Contribution Refund Program. Here's how it works:
The Karen Nolte Campaign will send you a receipt (Minnesota state form EP-3) for your contribution. You may use this to file for a refund of your contribution.
If you make a contribution(s)
to a Minnesota political party, a candidate for state office, or
candidates for the Minnesota Legislature, you are eligible to apply for
a refund of a portion of your contribution(s).
The
maximum refund you can receive is $50 for single persons and $100 for
married couples. You are only allowed to claim one refund with a single
application per year. You cannot amend that filing.
If you are registered to vote or eligible to vote in Minnesota, you are eligible to apply for a refund.
To receive a refund, you as a contributor must:
- Get a receipt (EP-3) from the candidate or political party to whom the contribution was made.
- Fill out Form PCR, which can be downloaded at this link or obtained from the Minnesota Department of Revenue.
- Attach the receipt (EP 3) to the application (Form PCR).
- Mail the application form and receipt to the Minnesota Departmentof Revenue at:

This refund program is not
tied in any way to the state income tax form. Form PCR must be filed
separately. You can only file one claim. Form PCR cannot be amended.
You may file a claim for the PCR immediately after making the contribution.
