It is official! I'm excited to say that I am the endorsed Republican candidate for State Representative for District 45-A. I have a vested interest as a 29-year resident of New Hope who has grandchildren in Robbinsdale Area Schools, I am a business owner, am familiar with private and public education and bring a wide variety of experience to the table. I am a block captain and I have served as a Shingle Creek Watershed representative, a Metro Transit Task Force member, a TwinWest Insider Politics participant, organizer and participant in Loaves and Fishes, and volunteer with ARC. I genuinely care about the wellbeing of others and that is why I am running.

My experience at the local government level as a New Hope City Council member and real life approach to problem solving will serve you well at the state. I base my decisions upon fact and always consider the far-reaching impact a decision will have.

Our state is facing a continued budget deficit and it appears that this legislature’s mentality is to raise taxes. We cannot keep taxing the citizens as though they are the goose that laid the golden egg! We must be proactive not reactive -- raising taxes is not the only solution.
